Well Women's Clinic

A doctor and a nurse educator conduct the Well Women's Clinic on an appointment basis and screen for cervical and breast cancer along with other routine checks.

Hypertension and Diabetic Clinic

A doctor and a nurse educator conduct the hypertension and diabetic clinic every Thursday. Patients are provided with advice on treating and managing diabetics and preventing complications. This information is geared to helping diabetics to care for themselves and lead full and comfortable lives.

Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic

The ENT specialist examines patients every Wednesday from 9h00 to 13h00.

Executive Clinic

The Executive Clinic offers an intensive health check-up for people over the age of 25 years. Medical specialists recommend that adults undergo a quality check-up each year, to ensure early detection and treatment of certain chronic diseases.

Mental health is one of the leading causes of morbidity but in a majority of cases it is misdiagnosed. Recognition, diagnosis and response have been challenging aspects of primary health care. Anxiety and depression are the most common psychiatry disorders.

The Aga Khan Hospital holds a Psychiatry Clinic every Wednesday from 14h00 to 16h00.

Comprehensive Care Clinic

The Medical Outpatient Clinic is designed for the special care required for HIV-positive patients. The purpose of follow-up visits is to give preventive therapy and to detect and treat opportunistic infections early.

A specially designed clinical follow-up chart is followed. The Clinic is intended to expand to cover counseling, nutritional support and care of psychosocial problems. Patients needing anti-retroviral drugs are put on the programme of “Access Pricing”, whereby a company can arrange for anti-retroviral treatment. The clinic has facilities to carry out routine and specialised blood tests needed for follow-up.

The Clinic operates every Tuesday from 9h00 to 13h00.

Gastroenterology Clinic

Patients with gastric disorders, e.g., stomach complaints, ulcers and liver conditions, are examined at this Clinic.
