Situated in the Centre of Dodoma municipality, the Aga Khan Primary Medical Centre, Dodoma began its journey in the 1960s as a small dispensary. The centre has 28 staffs who provide high quality primary health care services to almost 4,500 patients each month including outpatient, minor emergency, diagnostics, MCH, and pharmacy services.
Equipped with core laboratory, equipments such as ECG and ultrasound machine, the centre offers high quality, affordable care for the most common illnesses. As part of the Aga Health Services Referral Network, the PMC can refer local patients to the Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam, as well as other public and private tertiary hospitals for special investigations and treatment.
